A story expressed in performance, by music, and in print

In 2007/8, Nigel Westlake, an eminent Australian composer, was commissioned to arrange an orchestral Suite.  The music has been recorded by the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and is available via the Music page here.  The music was used as part of the Melbourne Theatre Company performance of The Glass Soldier play by Hannie Rayson.

Now, the story has been captured in the form of a novel, written by Ferguson’s grandson, Don Farrands.  The book seeks to create the trilogy of artistic endeavours on the subject.
